Direction by Car

Travel: By far the easiest way to find us is by car, but we’ve included links to train and bus timetables.

Directions by Rail or Bus

Trains run from Inverness to Achnasheen. From Achnasheen you can get a bus to Poolewe, which is 3 miles from Taigh Sonais. We may be able to pick you up at the Post Office.

Please plan your travel itinerary carefully, as this is a rural area and public transport isn’t always interconnecting. We find that’s part of the charm in living in the north west Highlands. A real get away from it all place.
